What is Alerts Fusion for SharePoint?
Alerts Fusion is a no-code SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web part from APPS 365. It shows announcements on SharePoint pages as a banner, message bar, popup, panel, standard alert or carousel message bar. You choose the content, who sees it, when it appears and how often.
Can announcements appear and expire on their own?
Yes. Set a from and to date and time for automatic alerts, popups and panels, close them automatically after a number of seconds, and cap how many times each person sees an automatic alert. Content pulled from a SharePoint list can follow the dates stored on the list item.
Can I show an alert only to certain people?
Yes. Turn on audience targeting in the web part and choose SharePoint groups, individual users, or both. People outside that audience do not see the alert.
What content can an alert show?
A SharePoint page or other URL, items from a SharePoint list, your own HTML with optional JavaScript and CSS files, or rich text written in the built-in editor.
Does Alerts Fusion work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Alerts are responsive, so they display on desktop, tablet and mobile browsers with the same styling.
Can an alert send people to another page?
Yes. A standard alert can show an action button that links to any URL, and a popup can redirect visitors when it closes, in the same or a new tab. Editors add #NoRedirect to the page address to edit the page without being redirected.
What is the difference between Alerts Fusion and Power Popups?
Alerts Fusion is a multi-format announcements tool: banners, message bars, panels, popups, standard alerts and carousels from several content sources. Power Popups focuses on high-impact popups and panels. They complement each other and both are in the APPS 365 Productivity Pack.
Is Alerts Fusion a replacement for the retired SharePoint alerts?
Not directly. Microsoft retired classic SharePoint Alerts, the emails sent when a list or library changes, in SharePoint Online: since July 2026 they no longer work, and Microsoft recommends Power Automate or SharePoint Rules for change notifications. Alerts Fusion does something different: it shows announcements on your SharePoint pages to the people who visit them.
Setup
How do I add an alert banner to a SharePoint page?
Install Alerts Fusion from Microsoft AppSource, edit a modern SharePoint page, add the Alerts Fusion web part with the + button, then choose the alert type, content, trigger and audience in the property pane. Republish the page and the alert appears for the people you targeted.
Which SharePoint versions does Alerts Fusion support?
SharePoint Online in Microsoft 365. Alerts Fusion can also be added to Microsoft Teams as a channel tab.
Can I use Alerts Fusion in Microsoft Teams?
Yes. Once the app is available in Teams admin center, add Alerts Fusion to a channel as a tab and configure it from its settings.
Do I need a developer to set it up?
No. Everything is configured in the web part property pane, and HTML is optional. A SharePoint admin installs the app once from AppSource or the app catalog, then page editors can use it.
Licensing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Install Alerts Fusion from Microsoft AppSource for a 7-day free trial with full functionality, limited to one site per tenant. After the trial a licence is needed to keep using it.
How is Alerts Fusion licensed?

How do I buy a licence?
