Alerts Fusion configuration sections
Every Alerts Fusion web part is set up from four sections of its property pane. The same sections apply to all alert types: alert, carousel message bar, message bar, panel and popup.
The four sections
- 1. Trigger configuration
- How people open the alert: a button, link or image on the page, or no visible trigger when the alert opens automatically.
- 2. Alert configuration
- The alert type and how it behaves: open event, position, schedule, auto close, show limits, animations and redirects.
- 3. Content configuration
- What the alert shows (page URL, SharePoint list, HTML or rich text) and its size and colours.
- 4. Target audience
- Who can see the alert: everyone, or only selected SharePoint groups and users.
Recommended order
Choose the alert type in Alert configuration first, because some trigger and content settings change with the type. Then add your content, set the trigger, and finish with the audience.
